Sponsor an American flag.
The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) of Idaho Falls needs flags! In addition to being used for local patriotic events, such as the 4th of July, the MAC also displays the United States flag to honor service members in the armed forces returning from harms way. The flags are placed along the parade route and also along the funeral routes for our home town heroes, military, police, firemen, paramedics and dignitaries.
Unfortunately, there are not enough flags for a proper display. You are invited to sponsor the purchase of an American flag for this purpose. The Sponsor a Flag program allows you to make a donation to the MAC of $25 per flag.* The flag staff will be adorned with a yellow ribbon depicting the honoree or sponsor - at your discretion.
Sponsor a flag in the name of an individual, a business or a hero that you would like to honor. The flags will be used as described, then stored and maintained by the MAC.
